THE ECO-BLUES: Oil Disaster in the Gulf Expected to have Lasting Effects on Gulf Coast and Eastern Seaboard

Image

As the oil from the April 20th Oil Rig explosion continues to both flow into the gulf from the sea floor and wash ashore, the magnitude of the possible long term effects is beginning to reveal itself. Louisiana was the first state to really be impacted but the oil is now spreading east and is expected to reach the Florida panhandle soon.

Now, experts are projecting much of the oil to make its way around the southern tip of Florida and move up the entire eastern U.S. Coast. This would be catastrophic to industries like tourism and fishing, not to mention what it means for the ecosystm in general (link to article below). There is another, far more dangerous prospect that many people may not be thinking about – the contamination of water supplies.

As the oil washes up on land and seeps into the ground, will it contaminate aquifers? Will it shut down power? Will people be without water? What kinds of threats will the infrastructure of nearby areas be under? Will evacuations be necessary? What would the consequences of another hurricane like Katrina be if it passed over huge amounts of oil before coming ashore? Could it rain oil?

Thomas Ryan Ward, Director of Education for Eco-Blue has been a “Water Warrior” for many years and getting people “off the grid” is one of his passions. With this amazing technology at their disposal, Ward envisions a scenario in which Eco-Blue can save lives in the event of disasters such as the one that occurred in the Gulf. Human beings can live two weeks without food but can barely make it two days without water. During an emergency, water is an immediate need.

Eco-Blue is a company that has come up with an innovative and revolutionary solution to such problems, caused by unexpected and unforeseen disasters like the one that happened in the Gulf. Being billed as “Katrina II”, this explosion may wreak many consequences along the U.S. Gulf Coast similar to what was seen after the 2005 hurricane devastated New Orleans.

Eco-Blue actually has the ability to create drinking water from air, without relying on the infrastructure of a water plant, for example. Oil getting into rivers and other water supplies can greatly inhibit the delivery of water to consumers. What if you were able to get your water from the air and then have it run to a filtration process? The future is now and the need has never been greater.

It's times like these that remind us that advances in technology can never stop.

Call Special Guests today to start the dialogue on a serious threat that may only be starting to rear its ugly head by affecting a major metropolitan area this past weekend.

Schedule an interview with Ward and get ready to hear how an individual household can produce, daily, eight gallons of its own clean drinking water literally out of thin air.
