SCOUTS HONOR…FAMILY VALUES: Taking Heat for Not Bending to Gay Agenda
Either way you look at it—whether simply holding true to its 100-year-old ideals, or standing up against an increasingly oppressive P.C. movement—the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) cut against the secular grain this past week with a bold statement.
After two years of careful review, a committee assembled by the BSA voted to preserve the organization’s longstanding policy of not granting membership to openly gay individuals, including pledging youth and volunteer adult troop leaders.
No surprise to culture war leader, sexual morality scholar and seminary professor, Dr. Michael Brown, the BSA is now under fire from homosexual groups and other factions within today’s progressive circle.
Not wasting any time, Brown is now making himself available for interviews, stepping up to be one of the few outspoken voices willing to defend the organization. When, as a guest on your show, Brown references the thorough research that went into his controversial book, A Queer Thing Happened to America, it will be clear why.
“It’s amazing that the Boy Scouts have been under such pressure over something so simple,” says Brown, “and the fact they’re taking such heat for this reminds us just how deeply gay activism has affected the thinking of so many Americans.”
He goes on, “No one is saying that all gay men are sexual predators or that most gay men are attracted to young males. Not at all. But with all too many Jerry Sandusky’s roaming around, it makes sense to have a system in place that protects boys from men who could be attracted to boys. For the same reason you don’t put grown women with Boy Scouts, you don’t put grown homosexual men with Boy Scouts. Every fair-minded American should see the common sense of this.”
Call Special Guests now to book Dr. Brown, author of the highly controversial book entitled A Queer Thing Happened to America, and prepare for a compelling argument that even the progressives find frustratingly inarguable.
“Look, I am open to having a public dialog or debate with any qualified scholar, minister, activist or GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender) spokesperson dealing with any topic covered in my book…” adds Brown.
You and your audience won’t want to miss this interview.
